Surfaces Organizers Get Jump on 2011 Show

Dallas, TX, March 10, 2010--Organizers of the Surfaces Expo said that 25% of the show floor for next year's event is already reserved by exhibitors.

“Our sales team met with clients at this year’s event and encouraged them to take advantage of the opportunity to reserve their space for next year’s show to get the best rate and location,” said Amie Gilmore, show manager.

“The response we got was overwhelmingly positive and signals to us that the market has turned the corner and is gaining strength.”

The first exhibitor to sign up for next year was Earthwerks, a hard surface company owned by distributor Swiff-Train.

“We have exhibited in Surfaces for a more than a decade and have grown our EarthWerks brand substantially over those 10-plus years,” said Don Evans, executive vice president of Sales for Earthwerks.

Next year the show is moving to Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas and will be co-located with StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas.
