Dallas, TX, January 6--Surfaces '05, which will take place January 26-28 at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, will have more than 1,000 exhibiting companies. It’s the highest number of exhibitors in the show’s 16-year history. With previous shows averaging around 950 exhibitors, now Surfaces has even more reasons to attend. "Each year, our goal is to provide attendees with the largest offering of new products, new suppliers and new ways to grow their businesses and this year we are thrilled to be able to deliver such an incredible number of options for them to choose from," says Michelle Troop, senior show director, Surfaces. Manufacturers in the floor covering industry use Surfaces every year to launch their new products, including carpet, ceramic tile, hardwood, laminate, resilient, rugs, stone, underlayment, accessories, specialty flooring and much more. Thousands of new product introductions can be expected. "All these new exhibitors and new products add up to a tremendous experience for attendees," says Troop. "They’ll have more choices than ever as they make their business plans for the coming year and find new ways to be more profitable." In addition to the most up-to-date carpet and rug styles, attendees at Surfaces 2005 will find new colors and textures for hardwoods and tile, as well as mosaics, glass tiles, marble, granite, stone, inlays, borders, medallions, countertops, environment- and ergonomic-friendly products, a wide range of tools, accessories and services.
