Stophel Named Legal Counsel at Mullican

Johnson City, TN, November 15--Ginna Stophel has been hired as legal counsel/warranty manager at Mullican Flooring’s headquarters in Johnson City, Tenn. Having recently passed the Tennessee state bar exam, Stophel will now serve as in-house legal counsel for Mullican while handling the administrative division of claims management. "Ginna’s knowledge and expertise in the legal discipline will be a tremendous advantage to us in claims management," says Brian Greenwell, Mullican’s vice president of sales and marketing. "She has a lot to offer Mullican, and we plan on using her abilities in the greatest capacity possible." Stophel is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law in Athens and a member of the Tennessee Bar Association. Prior to law school, Stophel worked for a non-profit administration in areas involving domestic violence and youth advocacy. She also holds a bachelor’s in human services from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va. "This is an opportunity for me to put my law school background to work for the benefit of Mullican," Stophel said. A native of Waynesboro, Va., Stophel currently resides in Bristol, Tenn. Mullican is the nation’s second largest manufacturer of 3/4-inch solid hardwood flooring. It has facilities in five states, including plants in Norton, Va., Holland, N.Y., Bowling Green, Ky., Ronceverte, W.Va., and Johnson City.
