Stewart Hay, Founder of Glen Eden Dies
Marietta, GA, July 8, 2011 -- Stewart Hay, founder and former president of Glen Eden Wool Carpets died yesterday.
Prior to getting into the wool carpet business, Hay studied agriculture and raised sheep on a 550 acre farm in New Zealand. Hay was born in Christchurch, New Zealand and moved to Cartersville, Georgia in 1986.
After selling Glen Eden to Davis and Davis in 2009, Hay went to work for Nourison as VP of Product Development and tufted production.
