StarNet Names Fred Williamson Director of Special
Ridgefield, CT, November 18, 2005---Lori Dowling announced that Fred Williamson has been appointed to director of special projects for StarNet Commercial Flooring Cooperative. He joins three fulltime StarNet employees: Lori Dowling, president and CEO; Deb Esbenshade, director of member services; and, Dave Trowbridge, controller. Dowling said, "Fred brings 35 years of experience in the commercial flooring business with a strong understanding of sales management, and as a commercial flooring contractor responsible for selling, installing and maintaining commercial flooring products. We are fortunate to have him with StarNet, where he will be instrumental in continuing to develop programs, such as our maintenance and environmental initiatives." For ten years, Williamson was franchise manager for The Invironmentalists? (formerly Dupont Flooring Systems). Earlier this year, StarNet Commercial Flooring Cooperative combined with The Invironmentalists? Commercial Services Network. Williamson's prior experience includes: Dupont Flooring Systems, eastern division president; MSA Industries, eastern division president; Contact Distributors (division of CSI/CDC Corp.), president; Karastan Rug Mills, vp contract marketing; and Gulistan Carpet, vp contract sales. In addition, he served in the grade of captain in the US Marine Corps. Williamson said, "I'm pleased to have this opportunity to be part of StarNet's dynamic growth, both in membership and services."
