Starnet 2024 Design Award Winners Named

Columbus, OH, May 20, 2024-Starnet Commercial Flooring, a network of full-service commercial flooring contractors, is pleased to announce the 2024 Starnet Design Awards winners.

Celebrating its 26th year, the annual competition recognizes the remarkable and innovative projects accomplished in concert with leading architects, designers, and commercial flooring brands throughout the United States and Canada.

Project entries substantially completed in 2023 competed for gold, silver, and bronze honors across eight categories, showcasing excellence in flooring focused design and installation: corporate, education, healthcare, hospitality & public space, mixed-use developments, single-source interior contractor, unique installation, and Canadian project of the year.

The awards were determined by a judging panel of experts specializing in flooring, architecture, and design. Winners in the gold category were then eligible for the Starnet 2024 Grand Prize, with the top three projects receiving gold, silver, and bronze distinctions. These winners will be celebrated at the Design Awards gala event on May 17, 2024. The competition also featured the People’s Choice Award. Starnet Members, who are highly skilled commercial flooring contractors and their supporting Preferred Vendor Partners, the leading suppliers in the flooring industry, nominated and voted on peer projects. These projects showcased exceptional workmanship and design.

This year’s awards also take on a special new meaning as the Starnet community remembers Rob Starr, Starnet’s Director of Marketing and Member Services, who recently passed away. In a tribute to his focus on connecting every part of the Starnet network in meaningful ways, the People's Choice Award has been renamed the "Rob Starr People's Choice Award."
