Spreen To Participate in Chinese Wood Floor Summit

Kneeland, CA,  October 14, 2008--Dave Spreen, president of Dave Spreen Enterprises, Inc., has been invited to participate in the experts panel during the 4th China Wood International Wood Flooring Cooperation Summit to be held Nov. 12-15 at the Shanghai MinYa Hotel located in the Lujiazui financial trade zone.

Participants in the Summit will visit Chinese wood factories and their retailing outlets to better understand current administration practices and marketing channels. Attendees will explore the developing consumer market, business strategies, and sourcing initiatives in an effort to promote cooperation between Chinese and foreign companies in each other’s markets.

Factory tours include an engineered flooring factory operated jointly by Power Dekor and Kahrs in Danyang along with Power Dekor’s laminate factory in the area.

The summit agenda is divided into three sections: the global wood flooring industry and market (current status and development trends); international cooperation (advantage comparison in industry and markets); and the internationalization of Chinese wood flooring corporations. Panels of experts have been assembled to participate in each section of the Summit discussions.

A separate meeting regarding green products purchasing is scheduled for the morning of Nov. 14.

Spreen is also forming an industry delegation to attend the summit.
