Sphinx to Debut Amherst Collection at High Point

Dalton, GA, September 17, 2007--Sphinx by Oriental Weavers will introduce the Amherst collection at the upcoming High Point Market.

In addition, the recently added Andy Warhol Home Pure and Revolution collections will be seen in High Point for the first time.

The Amherst collection, a blend of hand-tufted New Zealand and Indian wools, pairs traditional designs and style with modern color ways that complement the fabrics and accents in today’s home furnishings.

Introduced in 2004, the Andy Warhol Home collection features designs that were inspired by the late artist’s portfolio of work. Now, Sphinx has created two new lines of art for the floor: Pure and Revolution. The machine made Andy Warhol Pure series draws from the bold black, white, and red trends found in both home décor and ready-to-wear fashion.

The handcrafted Andy Warhol Revolution assortment’s subtle shading and softer tones are reflective of current contemporary area rug trends.
