Spec-ID Launches Spec-Connect AI

Charlottesville, VA, November 19, 2025-Spec-ID, a developer in specification data management, announced the launch of its newest patent-pending technology: Spec-Correct AI. This feature sets a new benchmark for speed and accuracy in identifying and sourcing building products directly from architectural finish schedules.

With Spec-Correct AI, Spec-ID subscribers can now upload a PDF flooring, tiling and ceiling architectural finish schedule directly into Spec-ID’s Advanced Search feature, where they automatically converted into a digital format and cross-referenced against Spec-ID’s expansive product database. In seconds, users receive precise product matches along with all associated documents and images-no more manual searching or downloading from manufacturer websites.

Traditionally, the process of finding and verifying product data could take over three minutes per product. While Spec-ID’s existing Advanced Search feature reduced this to under two minutes, Spec-Correct AI, completes the task in under one minute.
