Spartan Surfaces Expands into Southern California

Bel Air, MD, January 19, 2023--Spartan Surfaces has expanded into Southern California with Ismael "Ish" Calzada at the helm.

Most recently the Southern California market manager for Emser, Calzada brings expertise in tile and has spent over 30 years catering to the needs of the SoCal market--the second largest market in the U.S., according to Spartan Surfaces.

This move officially marks coast to coast representation for the commercial flooring supplier, which is owned by Floor & Decor. Spartan Surfaces plans to saturate the western U.S. in the future.

“Ish represents one of several high-impact hires for this region as we seek to build out this territory with complementary reps in the healthcare and education segments," says VP of sales Michael Blasek.
