Castellón. Spain, June 15--The Spanish ceramic tiles association Ascer said that in the first three months of 2005 the value of Spanish tile exports rose 0.9 per cent on the same period last year to 458.6m euros.
The eurozone, the US and eastern Europe recorded the fastest growth during this period, rising by between 5.1 and 9 per cent, while sales to Africa fell 9 per cent and the Near East, 4 per cent. Ascer also notes that tile imports to Spain fell last year by 15.3 per cent.
