Southwind Grows Dealer Network by 11%, Names Davison DVP

Dalton, GA, April 9, 2026-Southwind Floors announced that it has increased its dealer network by 11% over the past 12 months--outpacing broader industry trends, say Southwind officials.

In addition, the company appointed Welton Davison divisional vice president (DVP), strategic accounts, effective May 4.

With over 42 years of experience in the flooring industry, Davison brings expertise and industry relationships to Southwind Floors. He spent much of his career at Shaw Industries, where he held numerous leadership roles and most recently served as vice president of national accounts. In that position, he was responsible for managing relationships with all major buying groups across the United States.

In his new role at Southwind Floors, Welton will oversee the Southeast Division while also managing the company’s strategic buying group accounts.

Welton will be based out of Southwind Floors’ office in Dalton, Georgia.

It was announced on April 8 that Southwind, part of F9 Brands, would be acquired by Bed, Bath and Beyond.
