Solutia Raising Prices on Resin, Polymer

St. Louis, MO, December 10, 2007—Solutia Inc. said it is increasing the price of its Vydyne polyamide 66 resin and Ascend polymer in North America by $.10 per pound, effective December 15.

The company said the price increase is necessary because its basic materials costs are rising and because international demand is strong.
