Solutia Raising Prices on Plastic, Polymer

St. Louis, MO, April 3, 2008--Solutia Inc. said it will raise its prices on two of its plastic and polymer brands in North America due to high raw material, energy and transportation costs.

Solutia said it will increase the price of its Ascend and Vydyne nylon plastics and polymers by $.10 per pound on orders shipped on or after April 15.
