St. Louis, December 14--- Solutia Inc. will increase the price on all nylon carpet fiber products by five to seven percent for shipments on or after January 15, 2005.
"Sustained increases in raw material prices, transportation expenses, and energy costs have made these price increases necessary," said Gary Lanser, director of sales and business management for Solutia's Nylon Carpet Fiber Business.
