Small Business Optimism Rises in November
Washington, DC, Dec. 13, 2011 -- Small business optimism rose in November for the third straight month, according to the National Federation of Independent Business.
Its index rose 1.8 points to 92.0, on improvements in expectations for real sales gains and the outlook for business conditions.
However, the index is 2 points below January's index and well below pre-recession levels.
According to November's survey, the percent of owners reporting "poor sales" as the top problem remained at 25% followed by 19% reporting both taxes and regulations.
