Small Business Optimism Declines in March
Washington, DC, April 12, 2011 -- Small business optimism fell to the lowest level in five months during March, according to a survey by the National Federation of Independent Business.
The index fell to 91.9 in March, down from 94.5 in February.
However, components of the survey representing job creation, job openings, capital spending plans and inventory plans rose two points.
Credit doesn't seem to be a problem as 93% reported that all their needs were met or that they were not interested in borrowing.
