Small Business Confidence Rose in July

Washington, DC, August 11, 2015—U.S. small business confidence rose 1.3 points to 95.4 in July, according to the National Federation of Independent Business. This follow’s June’s 15-month low when the Index fell by four points.

July’s figure is still below the 42-year average of 98.

About 1,495 businesses took part in the survey, which revealed that business owners were upbeat about business conditions over the next six months, the expectation of improving sales as well as capital and inventories.
