Sherwin-Williams Quarterly Profit Ticks Higher

 

Cleveland, OH, Oct. 26, 2010 -- Sherwin-Williams reported a quarterly profit of $175.3 million, or $1.60 a share, compared with $175.2 million, or $1.51 a share, a year ago.

Sherwin-Williams, which caters to do-it-yourself (DIY) customers, contractors, and multi-national industrial manufacturers, said it expects fourth-quarter sales to increase in mid-teens.

Net sales at the company rose 9 percent to $2.17 billion.
