Sherlock’s Carpet & Tile Celebrating 50 Years of Business

Orland Park, IL, August 20, 2025-Sherlock’s Carpet & Tile of Orland, Illinois is celebrating 50 years of business, reports The Beverly Review. 

Sherlock’s Carpet & Tile was founded in 1975 by Joe Sherlock. Originally named Medallion Carpets, the company sold mostly carpet and vinyl floors, and in 1980, the business moved to its current location and was renamed as Sherlock’s Carpet Warehouse.

In 1993, Joe’s son, Marty Sherlock, became company president.
