Shaw’s “Kathy Ireland Fall Flooring Days” In Full

Dalton, GA, October 10, 2005--A current credit and incentive promotion for Shaw Flooring Alliance (SFA) retailers is going strong during the prime Fall selling months. “Kathy Ireland Fall Flooring Days,” a popular program in its second year, offers SFA dealers a 6-months same-as-cash buydown and a 15-months same-as-cash buydown during the promotional period from September 2 through October 17, 2005. Retailers are reporting strong sales by offering their customers the attractive credit terms. To support retailers during the promotion and drive traffic, Shaw ran a full-page ad in the September issue of Good Housekeeping inviting readers to participate in the Fall Flooring Days sale. The ad directs readers to www.shawfloors.com to find a dealer in their area. In addition to the credit promotion, other special offers are available to participating retailers. For sales of Kathy Ireland Home carpets, SFA retail sales associates earn from $.50 to $1.00 per yard, and the incentive includes all Shaw/KI styles. Retailers who carry Kathy Ireland’s ceramic line can also earn cash on square-foot sales of all KI ceramic and porcelain styles. Retailers are also reminded that their sales continue to earn points toward prizes in the popular Shaw Rewards program. During the promotion, retail sales associates can also earn an additional point per square yard for sales of qualifying Kathy Ireland laminate products. Kathy Ireland Home by Alta, a manufacturer of window coverings and a Shaw vendor partner, is also participating in the promotion, offering a sample display rebate and a retail sales associate cash incentive on its Gallery Collection Honeycomb shades, Gallery Window Shadings, and Gallery Wood Blinds.
