Shaw Rolls Out Epic Hardwood Promotion

Dalton, GA, June 9, 2010--Shaw Industries has rolled out what it calls The Epic Service Commitment, promising that the company’s Epic Hardwood products will be in stock and ship out of Dalton within 72 hours, or Shaw will credit $100 to the retailer.

The promotion runs through July 5.

Shaw believes its Epic engineered line is the fastest-growing product line in the wood flooring category.

“We have been overwhelmed by the response to this exceptional product, and our Epic Service Commitment demonstrates that we’re ready to prove we can deliver,” said Scott Sandlin, vice president of hard surface business development.

Epic is one of Shaw's top sustainability stories. Epic styles use approximately 50 percent less newly harvested wood than conventional 3/8"-inch engineered alternatives, Shaw said. The entire Epic collection is Cradle to Cradle Silver Certified by McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry.
