Shaw Living Unveils State of the Art Showroom
Atlanta, GA, January 22, 2006--Shaw Living celebrated the opening of its new state-of-the-art 12,000-square-foot showroom with an official ribbon cutting at the Atlanta International Rug Market. President of Shaw Inc. Randy Merritt and representatives from the Atlanta International Rug Market were on hand for the festivities. The new showroom features an open design scheme and Kin and Universal fixtures, all painted to match the warm, pleasing color scheme of the showroom. The showroom represents the single largest space for rugs at the Atlanta International Rug Market. The design goal of the space was to provide an open and spacious place for easy product review. There are also cozy and inviting sitting areas for relaxation and conversation. The showroom also features aCeramic Metal Halide Lighting Package, highly efficient, incandescent lights that last twice as long and use less power, and showroom lights that include spot to zoom features and offer high-color renditions for superior clarity when viewing Shaw products. The showroom also incorporates a variety of Shaw products, from bamboo flooring and space-dyed nylon carpet to commericial carpet tiles and ceramic tile flooring. Other features included a cultured white washed stone used as an additional design element, a large kitchen area to accommodate more clients, Orange Peel textured walls painted in soft and soothing earth tones, an expansive sound system, a combination of contemporary and traditional furniture blended throughout the showroom, flat screen TVs located throughout the showroom, featuring presentations from Shaw Green Edge to Kathy Ireland, a sales workroom that includes individual workstations, wireless remote, storage, and a large mural with Shaw's mission, principals, values and vision prominently featured.
