Shaw Living Launches Stainmaster Rug Collection

Atlanta, GA, January 25--Shaw Living announced the introduction of the Versant Collection, a new collection of Stainmaster area rugs constructed of 100 percent Invista nylon fiber. The area rugs are elegant, multi-level textured cut and loop pile construction targeted to consumers interested in both design and durability. "Our goal with the Versant collection was to specifically say 'more with less' by utilizing natural textures combined with updated colors to achieve a soft yet vibrant statement," said Kimberly Barta, brand manager at Shaw Living. "Although the area rugs are only available in solid colors, the slight tonal variation between the cut and loop lends a depth and richness of tone reminiscent of a hand tufted product." "This elegant line of area rugs will be even more attractive to consumers because they associate the brand with long lasting beauty and superior performance," said Ana Torrence, vice president of home and hospitality interiors for Invista. The four designs comprising the Versant Collection include: Amelia - an organic leaf design Eddy - a contemporary swirl design Martinique - a mosaic tile design Rain Forest - a bordered palm design Each design is available in four colors including sand, lichen, sisal and wine. Available sizes for each design are 5' x 7'6" and 7'6" x 10'6". Suggested retail for the 5' x 7'6" is $249.
