Shaw Launches Kathy Ireland Fall Promotion

Dalton, GA, August 28, 2006--“Fall Flooring Days,” the fourth annual Kathy Ireland promotion from Shaw, will begin on September 1, 2006 and run through October 16, 2006. Designed to motivate sales teams and provide in-store marketing support, the promotion will feature incentives for both retail salespeople and customers. All Shaw Kathy Ireland flooring brands including carpet, ceramic, laminate and area rugs, will be a part of the promotion. Shaw will provide national marketing support of the Fall Flooring Days promotion in the September issue of Good Housekeeping magazine. Dealers can also gain more support through www.shawadsource.com. Here, dealers can create customized newspaper advertisements, radio scripts, pricing tags and direct mail cards. Once the customer enters the dealer showroom, the purchase of Kathy Ireland flooring is made simple with a credit promotion of a 0 percent rate for 16 months with no payment and no interest. Dealers will be mailed in-store promotional materials including posters, pricing tags and tent cards. Retailers reported strong sales during Fall Flooring Days last year by offering the attractive credit terms to their customers. In addition to the credit promotion, other special offers are available to participating retailers. For sales of Kathy Ireland Home carpets, retail sales associates earn $.50 per square yard plus double points of Shaw Rewards. Qualifying associates can also earn up to $25 for each Kathy Ireland area rug sold. On Kathy Ireland ceramics, $.10 to $.15 is offered. And $2 to $4 per carton can be earned on the sale of some laminate styles through Shaw-Me-The-Money promotion incentive program. Shaw’s Kathy Ireland Fall Flooring Days is only available to Shaw Aligned Dealers.
