Shaw Debuts New Collection for Boats

Dalton, GA, Sept. 18, 2008--Shaw Industries said it is launching a collection of durable polypropylene carpets, recycled engineered hardwoods, laminate and other carpets for nautical craft use, named Shaw Marine.

Shaw Marine carpet is made from 100 percent polypropylene yarn with extended ultraviolet ratings. Offered in cut pile, cut-loop patterns and loop pile in a range of weights, Shaw Marine carpet offers a full choice of styles and colors.

Shaw Marine Carpet will feature patent pending backing composition, using Dow Chemical Enforcer technology.

Shaw Marine will be represented by the Derema Group as its sales partner and The MatWorks Ltd will provide Shaw Marine custom-fit mat and carpet kits utilizing their computerized carpet cutters.
