Downers Grove, IL, July 1, 2006--ServiceMaster Co., said Friday it appointed J. Patrick Spainhour as chairman and chief executive officer.
Spainhour, 56, had been serving as interim chairman and CEO since May 15, after Jonathan P. Ward, 52, resigned.
Spainhour, a former chairman and chief executive of Ann Taylor Stores Corp., said he will make improving delivery of service a key strategy for the company.
