ServiceMaster Launches Remote Monitoring Program
Memphis, TN, February 13, 2007--ServiceMaster Clean has launched a nationwide remote monitoring service for water damage recovery. This new evolution of technology in the science of drying will allow for greater efficiency for insurance providers, policyholders and ServiceMaster technicians alike. Remote monitoring will begin a service roll-out during the first quarter of 2007 and will continue to expand in the marketplace to ServiceMaster Clean customers throughout the year.ServiceMaster Clean’s remote monitoring program will deliver consistency in data reporting and reliable, real-time data to insurance providers. Because it eliminates the chance of human error, the drying process will enjoy an unprecedented level of efficiency. This technology will reduce complications that sometimes arise during the drying process because the real-time monitoring software will instantly alert technicians to any problems.
Additionally, homeowners and insurance representatives will have the ability to track their water damage recovery progress online, ultimately providing them added peace of mind that their residence is drying properly.
“We are constantly striving to deliver consistent data reporting to insurance providers as well as a complication-free disaster recovery to homeowners,” said Jeff Coulter, vice president of disaster restoration for ServiceMaster Clean. “The development and national implementation of remote monitoring is a key step in achieving this goal.”
