Memphis, TN, March 10-- ServiceMaster Clean and Certified Restoration Drycleaning Network (CRDN) have formed a strategic alliance to deliver the first combined national mitigation and restoration drycleaning program to the U.S. insurance industry.
The combined program will be delivered by the ServiceMaster Clean Quality Restoration Vendor national network and the CRDN national network to national disaster restoration accounts, focused on decreasing severities for the insurance carriers and also decreasing loss adjustment expenses.
Utilizing practical application and standard principles of the science of drying for water losses, first response for fire, smoke, odor and contamination and through enhanced restoration drycleaning techniques increases the likelihood that critical and costly items such as flooring, appliances, clothing and other items will be salvaged and restored which significantly reduces claims handling costs.
The program activates when an insurance adjuster from one of the ServiceMaster Clean national accounts engages the company through its 1-800-RESPOND number for disaster-restoration services. A CRDN member trained to capture-the-loss will accompany ServiceMaster Clean technicians to the home to conduct room-by-room inventories and generate a reliable record of the home's clothing and textile contents.
"Previous restoration drycleaning services have been delivered to the insurance industry in a fragmented and inconsistent manner," explained Wayne Wudyka, CRDN's founder and CEO. "By forging this national program with a national and trusted organization like ServiceMaster Clean, CRDN helps insurers improve their bottom line dramatically while streamlining the claims process.
Insurance companies want an accurate cost assessment and homeowners want to save their belongings. With our 98 percent salvage rate and our 'clean or free' guarantee this program makes that a reality."
