Service Sector Expansion Slows

Tempe, AZ, July 5, 2012 -- Service industries in the U.S. expanded in June at the slowest rate since January 2010, according to the Institute for Supply Management.

ISM said its non-manufacturing index dropped to 52.1 from 53.7 in May.

Economists called for a reading of 53.

Readings above 50 signal expansion.
