Second Anso Nylon Carpet Sale Set For Fall

Morris Township, NJ, Aug. 13--Honeywell’s Anso nylon, today announced it is adding two new consumer-focused elements to its second annual “Anso Nylon National Carpet Sale” promotion, which runs Sept. 1 through Oct. 20. Beginning Sept. 1, Anso nylon will promote the sale through an online banner advertisement on HGTV.com, one of the leading consumer website destinations for home and garden information. The new ad, which will run the entire length of the promotion and is the first direct-to-consumer ad for Anso nylon in more than ten years, will appear on the HGTV.com home page and on various key sections, including the At Home, Decorating, and Remodeling sites. According to Home & Garden Television, the HGTV.com site receives more than 2.9 million unique visitors per month. The banner ad will prompt visitors to the ansonylon.com website where they can use a dealer locator function to find dealers in their area that are participating in the promotion. While at ansonylon.com, visitors also can download a rebate coupon worth up to $50 and receive Anso nylon’s consumer-friendly “Designing with Carpet” brochure. Beginning Sept. 1 and lasting throughout the promotion, Anso nylon is offering consumers a rebate of up to $50 for any purchase of carpet made with Anso nylon from a participating dealer. Consumers must fill out and download their rebate form online at Anso nylon’s consumer website, ansonylon.com. Customers will have until Nov. 30 to mail in their rebate form with retail store receipt to Anso nylon. Rebates will be delivered within six to eight weeks of receipt. "Research shows that brand awareness is increased through online advertising,” said Ann Merino, Honeywell Nylon merchandising and brand marketing manager. “We believe that these new elements are tremendous value-adds from which our dealers will greatly benefit. Our dealers asked for more direct-to-consumer marketing initiatives to raise the awareness and profile of the promotion, and we’re meeting that need to drive more traffic to their stores.” More than 1,250 Anso Advantage Account (AAA) dealers across the country are participating in this year’s promotion, which includes new co-op advertising and merchandising materials and an aggressive consumer public relations campaign.
