Sakrete and Baltimore Orioles Help the Homeless

Charlotte, NC, September 7, 2007 – Sakrete and the Baltimore Orioles baseball team will present a check for $8,600 to HomeAid at Saturday night’s game against the Boston Red Sox.

HomeAid (www.homeaid.org), is a leading national non-profit provider of housing for the homeless.

This is the first year of the ‘Sakrete Diamond Play of the Game’ program, which was created by Sakrete to raise money to help fight homelessness. For each Orioles home game during half of the season, a play was selected as the ‘Sakrete Diamond Play of the Game’ and a $200 donation was designated for HomeAid in the selected player’s name.

Two teams participated this year: the Orioles and the Los Angeles Dodgers. A check presentation will also be made in Los Angeles on September 25, when the Dodgers host the Colorado Rockies.

The Sakrete brand is owned and managed by Oldcastle APG/Bonsal American Inc. Bonsal American is headquartered in Charlotte, N.C.
