Safavieh Moving To Larger Showroom at AmericasMart

Port Washington, NY, Dec. 2, 2009--High end rug house Safavieh is moving into  a 13,000-square-foot showroom in Atlanta's AmericasMart, which is twice the size of its former space.

Safavieh will host its grand opening event on Jan. 8. The annual Winter Market is scheduled from Jan. 7 to 10.

The fifth floor showroom provides an open plan design that will allow Safavieh to merchandise its designer licensing collections as distinctive and individual shops.

In addition to its own area rug programs, Safavieh is producing rug collections in licensing partnerships with Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and designers Thomas O’Brien, David Easton, Jamie Drake, Suzanne Kasler and Thom Filicia Home.
