Sabosik New StarNet Chairman

Ridgefield, CT, Jun. 7--At its recent annual meeting in Amelia Island, FL, StarNet announced three Board appointments. Jim Creamer, president and CEO of Potomac Floor Covering in Dulles, VA, and Chuck Rajner, VP of OCP Contractors, Inc. in Holland, OH, were elected Director positions. Bob Sabosik, president of M.E. Sabosik, Inc., in Pt. Pleasant, NJ is the new Chairman of the Board. Lori Dowling, president and CEO of StarNet, said, “The strength and commitment of our Board is critical to our success. We’re thrilled to have Jim Creamer and Chuck Rajner as new Board members. They have been great assets to this organization. Jim is our technological and software system guru, and Chuck is an excellent resource for strategic planning, communication and execution. Bob, a Board member since 2001, is exceptionally well-versed in the commercial flooring industry, and his guidance will be critical as we take StarNet to the next level." With a strong history and background in the flooring business, Creamer started Potomac Floor Covering, Inc. in 1986 with co-owner Bart Harris. As President and CEO of the company, Creamer is responsible for strategic planning, marketing, finances, IT, and personnel issues. His area of expertise is business management software with extensive involvement in designing, writing, and beta testing software. Since becoming a member, he has served as Chairman of the Technology Committee and representative of the Flooring B2B Standard Group. Rajner joined OCP Contractors, Inc. in 1992 as the company’s General Manager. Over the years he has helped expand the company’s product line and has directed marketing efforts for the firm. With a management style focused on long-term goals, Rajner has climbed the corporate ladder to his current title as vice president. An active member in the StarNet community since OCP Contractors joined the organization in 1995, Rajner has served on several committees including vendor relations, membership, and is the current co-chair of the meetings committee. With 31 years of experience in the flooring industry, Sabosik began his career as an installer, working his way up to president of M.E. Sabosik Associates, Inc. He has been instrumental in affecting positive growth, market penetration, and an expanded company product line. A StarNet member since 1995, Sabosik has held several positions with the organization. He was a member of the advisory council from 1996-2001, has been a Board member since 2001, most recently served as treasurer, and currently chairs the audit committee.
