Rug Importer Moves Into Larger LA Headquarters

Los Angeles, CA, Dec. 4, 2009--Rug importer and wholesaler G.A. Gertmenian & Sons has moved into a newly built 150,000-square-foot headquarters

The move to the new headquarters for Gertmenian, after being in Downtown Los Angeles since 1925, included consolidating two off-site warehouses in East Los Angeles and City of Commerce.

The firm originated more than 112 years ago in upstate New York where senior partner Tom Gertmenian’s grandfather launched the company, which has evolved into a high volume rug distributor serving some of the nation’s largest retailers.
