Danville, VA, November 30, 2006--Columbia Flooring today appointed Lance Rooney to the position of vice president of sales and marketing.
Rooney will oversee all of Columbia’s sales and marketing efforts throughout North America. He comes to Columbia from high-pressure laminates manufacturer Nevamar Company LLC, where he was director of sales, after 25 years with International Paper in various sales and marketing capacities.
“With his maturity and many years of sales and marketing experience, Lance will bring structured leadership and a disciplined approach,” Columbia President David Wootton said. “He possesses unique qualities that will help us navigate and grow in what is becoming an increasingly complex market.”
Rooney holds a marketing degree from Rowan University, Glassboro, New Jersey.
