ReSource Commercial Holds Network Exchange 2007

Aurora, CO, May 4, 2007--The ReSource Commercial Flooring Network (RCFN) held its annual dealer conference, Network Exchange, last week in Newport Beach, California at The Island Hotel. This was the first conference for the ReSource Commercial Flooring Network since reorganizing as a member owned group of commercial flooring contractors in March 2006.

“This meeting was a great opportunity to engage our members and suppliers moving forward as the ReSource Commercial Flooring Network and I believe we accomplished that” said Ron Lee, Executive Director, RCFN.

“All of us from Bentley Prince Street recognized that something special was taking place here and that there was a sense of renewal and recommitment present within the RCFN membership” George Maibach, Vice President Business Development for Bentley Prince Street. Network Exchange brings together member companies and suppliers from across the country to network, share business practices and promote products and services. The meeting program included industry speakers, strategists, tradeshow and awards program. Steve Bassill, QDI Strategies, presented an overview of distribution and identifying customers stating the importance of setting your own rules rather than playing by those of others.

The high energy meeting was well received by both members and ReSource preferred suppliers with Jeff Raabe, Senior Vice President, Sales for Tandus saying "This group of flooring contractors are some of the absolute elite in the Industry. Tandus looks forward to continued growth and association through partnering to bring the best value with world class service and products to the A&D and End Use commercial markets."

The meeting concluded Friday evening with an awards presentation recognizing members and suppliers for their contributions to RCFN. The following companies were recognized:

The Resource Commercial Flooring Network, LLC (RCFN) is a member owned network of professional commercial flooring contractors located throughout the United States. RCFN was formed when it acquired the assets of Resource Connec+ from Interface, Inc. in March 2006. The organizations goal is to increase the flooring contractor’s value in the supply chain, and ensure that these values are continually enhanced to support its customers and suppliers. The basic business principle is to provide its member owners programs, services and additional income unavailable as a stand alone independent company. Example programs and services include marketing, advertising, cost management, recruiting and training.
