Report: Solutia's Monthly Loss Narrows

St. Louis, MO, May 1, 2007--According to a monthly operating report released by the Securities and Exchange Commission, Solutia narrowed its monthly net loss in March to $2 million, from a net loss of $4 million in February.

The company filed for Chapter 11 protection in December 2003 through the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Manhattan.

Sales, according to the report, were $259 million in March, up from sales of $224 million in February.
