Report: Pergo Has 50% of Indian Laminate Market

Kerala, India, March 27, 2006--Pergo, a global leader in laminate flooring, today said it has over 50 per cent market share in the laminate flooring category in India, according to New Karala.com. The company that opened its new design centre here today also said it had set up over 10 million square feet of floorings for Indian homes. The Swedish company, which launched its operations in India in 1999, would offer wooden laminate floorings with different applications like carpet transition, and hard surface reducer at its new centre, its CEO (India) K R Shivshankar said today. Pergo has presence in 32 countries. It has a retail network of over 55 home improvement stores spread across 25 cities in India.
