Renaissance Tile & Bath Opens New DC Location

Atlanta, GA, July 21--Renaissance Tile & Bath has expanded its showroom presence through a new location in the Washington, D.C., area. The new location is the result of Renaissance Tile & Bath’s acquisition of Ademas, a market-leading tile resource that has been serving the district area for 25 years. Located at 816 N. Fairfax Street in Alexandria, Va., the new Renaissance Tile & Bath showroom provides metropolitan D.C. area designers, builders, architects and homeowners the ability to choose from a larger selection of stone, decorative tile and bath products from around the world. In addition, customers will also be able to experience Renaissance Tile & Bath’s unique luxury showroom concept, which focuses on providing a wide selection of premium, hand-selected products, unparalleled customer service and hands-on design support from in-store interior design professionals. “We’re excited to give homeowners in the Washington, D.C., area more selection opportunities and a richer shopping experience for premium luxury bath, tile and stone products for their design needs,” said David O’Neil, president of Renaissance Tile & Bath. “Ademas’ reputation for customer service and its expansive tile selection provides a solid foundation on which to extend the Renaissance Tile & Bath brand to the D.C. area. We feel we’re meeting a distinct market need, and that consumers in the area will embrace our unique showroom concept.” Ademas Owner Barbara Thomas believes, “Renaissance Tile & Bath and Ademas share two very important values that have been successful: design expertise and hands-on customer service," said Ademas owner Barbara Thomas. "By combining this with their extended network of resources, including a superior depth of product offerings from around the world, we are now able to meet virtually any interior design and aesthetic need imaginable.” According to O’Neil, a number of modifications over the next 12-24 months will transform the former Ademas showroom into one that more closely reflects Renaissance Tile & Bath’s other showrooms in Atlanta, Charlotte and Nashville. For example, once completed, the upgraded 6,000-square-foot showroom will present a wide variety of new and existing products displayed in an open, gallery-style approach, providing customers with a more compelling way to view all the product possibilities available. New products will also be added, including new trend-setting lines from O’Neil-Ruppel and a selection of bath products from such major brands as THG and TOTO, as well as an increased offering of custom tile and stone.
