Registration Open for Distributors Event

Chicago, IL, June 11, 2008--The North American Association of Floor Covering Distributors said that registration is now open for its 37th Annual Meeting and Distributor Marketplace, Oct. 29-31, in Schaumburg, Ill.

In addition to the annual meeting NAFCD is also conducting the third annual Distributor Marketplace, a face-to-face environment designed to make buying
and selling easier and more efficient for manufacturers/distributors. The event is the only one of its kind in the floor covering industry.

This year, NAFCD's Annual Meeting line-up contains a diverse blend ofkeynote speakers presenting a wide range of crucial industry topics that
address the current economic climate. Keynote speaker, Randy Merritt, president of Shaw Industries, will provide insight into the industry and discuss
how Shaw is addressing the current economy.

An expert in human resources and communications, Meagan Johnson, will offer insight into working in a multi-generational workplace.

Harley-Davidson's Ken Schmidt will address how to create a demand for products and how to prepare  for a market disaster. Lastly, Jason Bader, will discuss recent research about the distribution industry distributors and manufacturers will discuss their needs.
