Ray Anderson Named Founding Member of HOF

Portland, OR, July 6, 2011 --  The International Society of Sustainability Professionals has announced that it will establish the ISSP Sustainability Hall of Fame as a way to formally recognize people who have made significant contributions to the field.

The five founding members of the ISSP Sustainability Hall of Fame include Ray Anderson, founder and chairman of carpet maker Interface, Inc.

Other founding members include Gil Friend, president and CEO of Natural Logic, Inc., a sustainability strategy firm;

Amory B. Lovins, chairman and chief scientist of Rocky Mountain Institute;

Karl Henrik Robert, a Swedish cancer researcher and founder of The Natural Step framework for sustainable development;

Bob Willard, an expert on quantifying and selling the business case for sustainability.

All five nominees have been invited to the ISSP Conference 2011 on Sept. 22-23 in Portland, Oregon to participate in an induction ceremony
