Quick-Step Rolls Out DecorWood to Retailers
Dallas, TX, Aug. 18, 2011 -- Quick-Step has rolled out DecorWood, a new product category that it initially announced in January and displayed at the Surfaces trade show.
Quick-Step says the product has characteristics of both hardwood and laminate.
The product features exotic wood visuals in 6-3/4 foot planks, and the species include Brazilian Walnut, Golden Eucalyptus, Claret Cherry, Crimson Jarrah and Garnet Tupelo.
"DecorWood will have a significant impact in the flooring industry," says Quick-Step designer partner and HGTV blogger Erinn Valencich.
Quick-Step's proprietary "HiDef Color Fusion Technology" fuses color directly onto a substrate composed primarily of post-industrial recycled wood.
