Quartz Flooring Distribution a New Joint Venture

Chicago, IL, May 27, 2010--Quartz Flooring Distribution North America LLC (QFD) has been formed by KQF Acquisition and Knight Performance Flooring to distribute and sell Knight quartz-based resilient vinyl floor tile and sheet products in North America.

Manufactured near Shanghai, China, Knight Performance Flooring’s line of tile is identical in specifications and performance to products formerly produced by Knight Quartz Flooring, the company said. KPC president Jessica Lee has managed ventures in China for Owens Corning building materials and Eaton automotive parts.

QFD has named GreenSource Solutions of Brookline, Mass. as its exclusive representative for New England and New York.

KQF Acquisition Company LLC of Chicago and Knight Performance Flooring Co. Ltd. of Shanghai, China are independent companies. They are not part of the recent bankruptcies of Knight Quartz Flooring and Knight Industries.
