Montreal, Canada, July 17, 2006--PTT Poly Canada announced that it is raising the price of PTT polymer (polytrimethylene terephthalate) by 6 cpp in North America, effective August 1st. The increase is due to continued escalation in the cost of raw materials, energy, and transportation.
PTT polymer is marketed globally under the trade name Corterra Polymers and is typically used in carpet, textile and engineering thermoplastic applications.
