Prizant's Stranded Customers Get Relief
Harrisburg, PA, January 11, 2008-- The state Attorney General's office has reached a $100,000 settlement with Prizant’s, which closed suddenly last month.
The money from the 10-store Pittsburgh-area carpet chain will be used to reimburse customers who had paid deposits but never received their orders. About 80 people complained to the Attorney General's office.
Investors Rob Lang and Mark Scioscia bought the chain in 2006.
