Private Group Invests in UK Firm Floors-2-Go
London, England, Jan. 17, 2011 -- Private investor syndicate Hotbed has invested 3.25 million pounds into flooring retailer Floors-2-Go, according to DIYWeek.
The firm's expansion will be overseen by former B&Q chief executive and chairman Jim Hodkinson.
The original founders of Floors-2-Go, the Hodges family, have also invested 3.5 million pounds into the company, which it re-acquired from administrators in 2008. They founded the company in 1999 and the retailer has 94 stores.
The story said the company will return to its customer-service roots.
