Quebec, Canada, November 13, 2006--Preverco now offers wider boards for its Original Series. Preverco’s line of Original Series of hardwood flooring has been extended to offer 5 inch boards.
“Wider boards are more desirable to architects because they signify trees that are older and more precious,” said Thomas McKay, principal at McKay Architecture/Design PLLC in New York City. “Preverco’s development affords the product a more luxurious, traditional, classic look over other wood flooring products.”
Preverco’s manufacturing techniques produce wood strips with surface smoothness and tongue and groove features. The strips are manufactured with a constant thickness and width. The Original Series uses Preverco’s Sigma finishing. Sigma finishing offers UV resistance and anti-bacterial protection.
Preverco’s wider boards are graded Select & Better and Character, offering a rustic look. Preverco’s new board varieties are available in five different stains and species, including Walnut and American Cherry.
