Preverco Launches PreLoc Engineered Hardwood

St-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Quebec, October 23, 2007--Preverco, a manufacturer of high-end Canadian hardwood flooring, has developed a self-locking engineered flooring.

Preverco’s PreLoc Series uses technology patented by Swedish firm Välinge Innovation.

Preverco’s PreLoc, which floats, can be installed on many surfaces, such as concrete, concrete with radiant heating systems, O.S.B., plywood and a variety of acoustical membranes.

The series comes in random strip lengths. Using customized manufacturing equipment designed by Välinge, Preverco can modify the size of the locking strip to fit different widths ranging from the standard 3 ¼ inch to the wider 7 inch planks.
