Portuguese Wood Mill Acquires Part of BR-111

Miami, FL, July 15, 2011 -- BR-111 Exotic Hardwood Flooring said it has formed a partnership with one of the largest flooring mills in the world Ribadao - Industria de Madeiras, S.A. of Portugal.

As part of a new long-term partnership Ribadao will acquire a portion of BR-111 and in return will substantially increase its support in the BR-111 supply chain including flooring production, lumber acquisition, and quality control.

“This new partnership with Ribadao gives us access to world-class production capabilities from one of the largest flooring producers in Europe,” said Ricardo Moraes, president of BR-111.

“Known for its consistency in lumber selection, precision milling and flawless finishing, Ribadao offers the highest quality hardwood flooring.”

With company owned forests of approximately 700,000 acres, Ribadao's production capacity is over
1,500,000 square feet of flooring per month.

Ribadao is also one of the largest producers of African flooring species in the world, including Wenge, Sapele, Iroko, and Afzelia.

According to a press release, BR-111 Exclusive dealers should see substantially more store traffic and increased flooring sales with higher margins on all BR-111 products.

In addition BR-111 will now have access to more exclusive species and products.
